The Buyanihan Birthday Bazaar and Fundraiser will be held in August 3 to 7, 2020 on www.facebook.com/saferpinas
SAFER previously held its 1st bazaar in at U.P. Town Center last March 30 to 31, 2019. U.P. Town Center sponsored the venue while Aji Events Management Services donated a total of PHP133,264 from the proceeds of the bazaar to SAFER. Its 2nd bazaar was sponsored by Century City Mall last July 26—28, 2019, raising Php60,910 for the Quick Response Fund (QRF.)
This week-long activity aims to promote locally-led business initiatives from small and medium enterprises (SME) while raising awareness on disaster preparedness and resiliency by supporting SAFER’s Quick Response Fund (QRF) that provides quick aid to families and communities affected by disasters/emergencies. The QRF is a pooled fund that ensures money is sufficient and readily in place before a disaster strikes. This allows SAFER to disburse money to its local partners efficiently and immediately right after a disaster. Survivors can receive life-saving relief and assistance on-time during emergency situations.
“Masarap sa pakiramdam na may natutulungan ako kasama ang SAFER. Kailangan mag-share ng blessings.”
– Joel Medina (2nd Bazaar: Choice Kakanin)
“I joined because I have a preference towards bazaars with a greater purpose. I am thankful to be a part of the BUYanihan Summer Bazaar.”
-Cherrie Anne Domingo-Dillera (1st Bazaar: Artsy Witchy)
This is the most important time for Filipinos to work together to rise above the pandemic. The 3rd run of SAFER’s BUYanihan Bazaar will be done through an online platform and intends to strengthen the support of the online community for the benefit of the marginalized sector and the SMEs online.
